I am I am Yeong-sik Kim, chairman of the 9th Goyang Special City Council.
Thank you for your interest in and support for Goyang Special City and for visiting this website.
Since the establishment of the first Goyang City Council in 1991, the 9th Goyang Special City Council became the first Goyang City Council to have the same number of seats taken by the ruling and opposition parties. Regardless of their party, the 34 council members will faithfully carry out the will of the residents and show a truly exemplary council by harmoniously working towards solving problems at hand.
Preparing for a resurgence of COVID-19 and solving problems like high interest rates and inflation are priorities for the 1st half of the 9th Goyang Special City Council. The council members will work closely with the city to tackles these tasks. Also, we will reach out to underprivileged groups who are going through even tougher times today.
The true owners of Goyang Special City Council which works for the residents and with the residents, are the residents. To make and implement policies for the people, we want this website to serve as an ocean where the currents of the will of the people all flow in.
